Description
Kuala Gandah Elephant Center houses a number of elephants which are trained and used in translocation process of wild elephants in problem areas throughout Peninsular Malaysia. Kuala Gandah also promotes awareness of the elephant's plight and support research in elephant translocation and conservation.
The center is the only one in the country. The elephants in this center are used for transfering wild elephants to prevent further decline of the elephant population.
