Day 1 -
Arrive Kota Kinabalu International Airport. Meet and greet by our friendly representatvtive, transfer from Airport for an easy 2-hour scenic drive to Kinabalu Park – Malaysia’s first World Heritage designated by UNESCO in December 2002 for its ‘outstanding universal values” and role as one of the world’s most important biological sites. The importance of Kinabalu’s botanical diversity is described as “one of the richest assemblages of Plants in the world” by one of the expert. This botanical paradise is blessed with an astonishing variety of flora and fauna that range over 4 climate zones, from the rich lowland dipterocarp forest through the montane oak, rhododendron, and coniferous forests, to the alpine Meadow plants. Kinabalu Park has probably one of the richest flora collections in the world. Upon arrival could visit the exhibition centre or step into Wonderland by following any of the numerous trails around Kinabalu Park, each filled With discovery. This botanical paradise of Borneo is home to an estimated 1,200 species of orchids, 26 species of rhododendrons, 9 species of Nepenthes pitcher plants, over 80 species of fig trees, over 60 species of oaks and chestnut trees, 100 species of mammals, 326 species of birds … the list goes on. Overnight at Mountain Resort.
Day 2 - (B’fast)
American Breakfast at Zen’s Restaurant. Proceed for Poring Hot Spring Tour, which is located 39 km away from Kinabalu park. You can soak in the skin-curative properties of a hot sulphur bath or a natural health Spa for one to rejuvenate body and mind. Could trek the various trail through rich lowland forest. Mountain streams and waterfalls. A must-visit is the Poring Canopy Walkway which stroll amidst the treetops of the Menggaris Tree – the King of the forest – and admire the view of the rainforest from a different perspective. The canopy walkway is 157.8 m. long and 41 m. high. Return to Kota Kinabalu enroute Rose Garden and Kundasang Vegetable Market. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 3 - (B’fast)
American Breakfast at Hotel. Full day Manukan Island Excursion. Proceed for just 15 minutes away by boat from Kota Kinabalu town to explore and enjoy the beach for the day. One could swim or just laze on a quiet beach of pure white sand under bright blue tropical skies. Overnight at Manukan Chalet.
Day 4 - (B'fast)
Breakfast. Boat ride back to Ferry terminal. Transfer to airport for your return flight home with sweet memory.
