Opened in 1963, the National Zoo is one of the countries oldst recreational institutions. Located just 12km from the heart of the city, it is home to over 4,000 animals from more than 400 species. Luscious greenary surrounding the entire 62 acres, makes it a perfect recreational spot. There are many attractions that can be found at the zoo. Visitors can watch in glee gentle elephants at the Elephant show. Animal rides are available. There are also picnic grounds and children world where children can get closer to the furry ones. Watch also the animals enjoying teir meal during feeding time. There are so many things that visitors cab do and view at the National Zoo. The experience will surely leave a wonderful memory
