ITENERARY PROGRAM

Day 1: Kota Kinabalu Airport / Kinabalu Park OR Zen Garden

- Pick up at airport and proceed for 2 hrs along drive along the ridges of the Crocker  Range to Kota Kinabalu Park.

- Arrive at Kinabalu Park.

- Check in to Kinabalu Park OR Zen Garden. Free at leisure.

- Dinner at Kinabalu Park Restaurant OR Zen Garden Restaurant.

- Free at leisure and overnight at Kinabalu Park OR Zen Garden.

   (Set dinner at Kinabalu Park OR Steamboat Dinner at Zen Garden)

Day 2: Kinabalu Park OR Zen Garden/ Summit Trail / Mountain Accomodation

- After breakfast, proceed to Park Headquarters for Mountain Climbing registration. Equipment check, gear up then proceed for a short transfer to the start of the summit trail at the Timpohon Gate.

(Climb will be accompanied by local mountain guide). Meet tour guide next day.

- Treak up to the mountain accommodation enjoy the wonderful scenery along the way while looking out for pitcher plants, orchids and travel through the misty clouded forest, steep and rocky tracks of the mountain in your conqest of the mountain.

- Arrive at mountain accommodation by noon or pass noon. Check in to rest house. Free at leisure till dinner. By evening buffet dinner will serve at rest house restaurant.

- Overnight at rest house for any early departure.

* Note : Rest house Restaurant closes at 7 pm.

Day 3 Mountain Accomodation/Summit Trail/Kota Kinabalu Airport

-Early morning at 2am proceed from Mountain Accommodation to the summit of  Mountain Kinabalu. You should arrive in time for sunrise. Congratulations!!!

-Descend with caution back to the rest house for breakfast before descending to the park.

-Upon reaching Timpohon Gate, you will be transferred to restaurant for lunch.

-By late of evening transfer back to Kota Kinabalu City and proceed to Kota Kinabalu Airport for your flight departure.

Things to bring

- personal belongings, warm clothing, wind breaker, raincoat, insect repellent, good trekking shoes, sun block lotion, camera, batteries, films, binoculars, glove, head light, drinking water, high energy food, headache tablets, deep heat lotion, lip gloss, sleeping bag etc.

Important notes

- It is best recommended that climbers to go through medical check-up before attempting any mountain climbing. If you have a story of following ailments, it is high recommended that you should refrain from climbing: hypertension, Diabetes, Palpitation, Arthritis, Heart Disease, Severe Anemia, Peptic Ulcers, Epileptic Fits, Obesity,  (Overweight), Chronic Asthma, Muscular Cramp, Hepatitis (jaundice), or any other disease, which may hamper the climber.
