Handicraft shops and cultural establishments have been established, and many visitors enjoy making their own batiks. Batik painting and pandanus handicrafts remain popular souvenirs from Cherating. Cherating also offers you the chance to shop for handicraft and see cultural performances. Village maidens nimbly weave the "pandanus" leaves into mats, hats, bags and other inexpensive lightweight souvenirs. Cultural shows include wayang kulit (shadow play) and silat (the Malay art of self-defence).

Day 2 |
The tour begins with a scenic drive through oil palm and rubber plantations interspersed with tropical jungle. On arriving at Belimbing Village, you will board to a traditional river boat for 40 minutes ride through forest where you may spot monkeys,water monitor lizards and Birds along the way. With a "roof" of tree branches above the forest all around you,the river cruise is an enchanting journey. A stop is included where aborigines will demonstrate the use of blowpipes for hunting. But the highlight of the tour is certainly the expansive lake and beautiful "sights" created by nature.The best time to go on this tour is generally between May and July when certain parts of the lake may be covered with lotus flowers in full bloom.
**Tasik Chini (Lake Chini) is located some 100 kilometres from Kuantan. The lake is a string of several connected lakes. A legend tells us, that a sea serpent inhabits one of the lakes called Laut Gumun.Tasik Chini is also believed to be the site of a sunken Kmer city and many archaeologists have mounted expeditions to locate it.Fishing , camping, jungle trekking, boating and visiting Orang Asli villages are the main activities here.**

Upon receiving your booking request, we will advise you the confirmation within 24 hours for regional travel and up to 48 hours for long haul destinations.

In the event a Tour Packages booked by you is not available, Blue Forest Travel Sdn Bhd shall use its reasonable endeavors to suggest an alternative packages or service of similar pricing and quality.

Where the Tour Packages is either not available or suggested alternative (where applicable) is not acceptable to you but is nevertheless fully paid, we shall make a refund in accordance with our Refund Policy.

- DEPOSIT & PAYMENT
For booking placed more than 14 days before departure, a charge of 50% based on the total package price is required at the time of booking. The balance of the full payment must be made no less than 14 days prior to the date of departure.
- For booking placed less than 14days before departure, the total package price is required at the time of booking.
- Failure to comply with this may result in an automatic cancellation of your reservation and forfeiture of your deposit.
- AMENDMENT CHARGES
An administrative charge of 5% based on the total package price will be levied for each amendment request after the confirmation. Any other cost arising from the amendment will be borne by the passenger. No amendment can be made within 14 days prior to departure. A change on the entire tour destination is considered as a cancellation and will be charge according to cancellation policy.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
You may cancel your booking at any time but must be made in writing to avoid misunderstanding. Please refer to the Cancellation Fee table below for charges that will apply.

Between 30 to 15days - Forfeiture of the deposit
