Morning pick up at about 0715hr from Kota Kinabalu city hotel and drive to Beaufort town (drive will take about 1 1/2 hours) to board a train to the starting point. After light refreshment the excitement commences soon after a briefing on safety and rafting techniques.  You will be equipped with safety helmets and life vests for the adrenaline pumping ride through Sabah’s Wildest Rapids of the “Padas”, the Malaysian way of saying “Hot”.  Opportunities to see local villages and ride on Borneo’s ancient railway passing the Padas Gorge.

Lunch by the Padas riverside. Short rest then board train and by road back to Kota Kinabalu.

4)       River rafting is subject to the water level and weather condition.  If Padas rafting is not possible, Kiulu rafting may be substituted.  However, if rafting is not possible to be conducted at all, an alternative tour may be suggested.

Light & extra clothing, short pants, towel,  slippers, personal toiletries, sunblock, waterproof camera (optional) & raincoat.
