The morning will start with scenic countryside drive to Niah National Park. On route, you will pass through the Oil Palm plantations, local pepper farms and several small villages. After lunching at the Park's canteen, you will take a short longboat ride to Pangkalan Lobang, cross the river, and visit Niah Museum. The prehistoric significance of the Niah Caves is famed for its role as one of the most important birthplaces of Asian civilisation. Having held the remains of one of the oldest ever discovered human remains, it has quickly become a world-renowned site of extreme archaeological importance. The cave tour will not only take you through the Great Cave and Painted Caves, but will also present the antiquated rmnants of the famed bird nest harvesters. Afte th tour, you will return to Miri.
