"The place itself isnt too bad if you like the outdoors and are fascinated with plants. My friends and I highly recommend the T Cafe (Tanah Rata) for the scones and wnt to tell you guys to avoid Ye Olde Smokehouse because they only service the orang putih. They asked us to wait for 20 mins while they set our table but when the orang putih walked in past us they were seated at our table immediately whilst we were kept waiting in the hall waiting! So save your hard earned ringgit to spend at places like the night market at Brinchang which is fantastic! Must try the sweet potato, the ayam percik, lemang, pizza, the seafood tempura and buy the flowers."

"In a nutshell:
Pros: Clean cool air; beautiful scenery, fauna and flora; nostalgic hotels and restaurants (Ye Ole Smokehouse); strawberries galore, wonderful walks on and off roads, relaxing time with your family letting you forget the rest of our crazy world
Cons: sceneric but lengthy 60 km drive from the KL highway exit, which is further marred by avoiding crazy and suicidal truck and bus drivers. There is always some rain or drizzle here and there which makes it necessary to carry your rain gear with you at all times. During heavy rains, road passage may be blocked due to land slides. Weekends are to be avoided because of too many tourists on the road. "

"The trip up to CH was a horror, the bus didn't have air-cond (even though we were charged for the air-cond coach!!!) and F1 wannabe drivers!!! However, once you survive the trip there, the air is nice and cool. Do try the adventure tours offered by the agents in CH, it was a nice experience. Don't eat too much if you're taking the bus back as it might all come out!!! Ah, and be prepared to wait for at least an hour or more ... they operate on M'sian hours ... ie. LATE! The tourism board should really take some action against the bus company that monopolises the bus service to CH, they are the worst I've used in Peninsular M'sia."

"Cameron Highlands perlu di-percantekkan lagi dng memperbanyakkan taman2 rekreasi, kebun2 bunga berbagai2 jenis, mengurangkan development di-liring2 bukit yg. menyebabkan hakisan serta merosakkan alam semulajadinya.
Saya dapati Cameron Highland sekarang ini tidak seperti dahulu,Bandar yg.penoh dengan Bunga2an,udara berseh. Tetapi sekarang ini sudah tercemar."

"Well, this is a nice place...relax and privacy while breathing a fresh air. Everybody talk about the flower or strawberry but forget about the tea....just stop for a while at Bharat Tea Plantation (just beside the road) and have a fresh tea tarik in the cold air of Cameron while watching the green environment!"

"Would like to add some info here: There are 11 villages located here which has been accomadated by 22,000 people - Kampung Raja, Kuala Terla, Tringkap, Kea Farm, Lembah Bertam, Ringlet, Ladang Tea Blue Valley, Kampung Ladang Tea Boh, Ladang Tea Barat and Ladang Tea Gunung Emas. And the most important towns are Tanah Rata, Brinchang and Ringlet."

"What could I say about this place. Its the place for flowers freak, tea lovers (cuppa tea sirr....), fresh vegetables, stemboat kakis, and strawberry frenzies. Do bring along your sweater..and do not ask the hotel maintenance guy to slower down the AC tempreture ...like I did...duhh ! (Naturally...the temp is cold up there, so theres no such thing as AC in the hotels)"
