"The square, similar to the central square in Lisbon, Portugal, is the main attraction at Portuguese settlement."
It is most popular for its restaurants, which serve delicious seafood dishes like fragrantly spiced baked fish wrapped in banana leaves.
Every Saturday evening, cultural performances are held in the square where one can see dancers twirl around in their traditional costumes to the rhythm of a band. You can also enjoy a good stroll as you can hear pop bands strumming the night away on every other night. This square still makes a pleasant spot for a drink during the week.
