Tun Teja is the daughter of Sri Amar Di Raja Pahang was convinced by Hang Tuah to marry Sultan Mahmud Shah. She died a queen, in Merlimau, about 24km from Melaka City, while retreating with other members of the Melaka royal family from Portuguese attack in 1511.
