Explore the mysterious Kellie’s Castle - A sad story enshrouds this long-abandoned mammoth of a home. Construction of this house was started in 1915 by the owner William Kellie Smith but it came to a full halt upon his sudden death in 1926. The locals may not know this historical building as Kellie’s Castle, they call it something else that may invoke chills down your spine – Rumah Hantu (haunted house). Rumour has it that eerie apparitions were seen walking down the hallways of this uncompleted castle during the night. Go Caving at Gua Tempurung – Five gigantic domes with ceilings resembling tempurung (coconut shells) form the cave, giving its name Gua Tempurung. Crawl, scrabble and even lower yourself into impossible looking crevices as you go deep down to uncover the secrets of the largest limestone cave in Peninsula Malaysia. An underwater river called Sungai Gua Tempurung runs about 1.6 km through the cave which you can indulge in some spelunking activities. Jungle Trek at Royal Belum National Park - Prepare to be greeted by the calm turquoise waters of the blue, blue lake, the lush greenery of the jungle, fresh footprints of wildlife and frequent sightings of the eagles, storks and hornbills.
