Exit at the Jitra Selatan Interchange from the North-South Expressay. Drive along the Kangar-Padang Besar Road. Park in the big carpark on the left where there are shelters and a viewpoint. There is a Thai/local restaurant opposite.

Tasik Timah-Tasoh, built in 1992 with a cost of RM67 million, supplies water to Perlis folks as well as prevents any occurrence of flood in the state. The lake can hold about 35.3 million litres of water at any one time.
The scenic Timah-Tasoh Lake is also a sanctuary for migratory birds especially from the cold countries as this freshwater lake with its natural surroundings provides much needed food and shelter for these birds.
Located within the Perlis State Park, this lake has also been identified as a suitable site for fish breeding and other aquaculture projects.
History has it that the 4.84 acres of land where the State Museum now stands was granted by Raja Syed Alwi to his younger brother, Syed Salim bin Syed Muhammad al-Jafri.
