Head for Kota Tinggi town or Mersing town. From Kota tinggi town, travel north for about 13km, then turn right for another 23km. Then turn right again for about 2km and you'll reach the beach. From Mersing town, move south for 79km, then turn left for 25km to the beach.

Teluk Mahkota Beach, or previously known as Jason Bay, is quite a secluded beach. Great expanse of sand and sea. The strong constant wind and favourable waves make it an ideal spot for windsurfing. There are a couple of chalets and a camping ground to suit visitors' needs.
Located five kilometres north of Desaru, this museum was developed by the South Johor Development Authority (KEJORA), as part of its development project in the fishing village of Tanjung Balau. Fishing has been a major economic source for the seafarers of Kota Tinggi district since long ago and the abundance of it found in the South China Sea has supported them for generations.
A favourite among locals, this tall, cool waterfall with its pristine recreational forests and good jungle tracks, is just one of the many attractions of Kota Tinggi.
