It is strategically located in the waterfront of Georgetown, Penang, Malaysia at Lat 05 24.9 N Long 100 20.7 E. 

Featuring a classical colonial architecture that matches the other heritage buildings in the vicinity, the Marina occupies 1.6 hectares of the coastal land, adjacent to the Penang ferry terminal. 

The marina is open to the public and no membership is required.  It caters to vessels with maximum draft of up to 4 meters and has 102 berths ranging from 11 meters long to 50 meters.  At any one time, it can accomodate up to 140 yatchs and boats of various sizes.
