"At a glance, you might think you've arrived at a palace with its elaborate Malay architectural design. But, it is actually a state museum..."
Walk through the museum's galleries and you'll be amazed by the large collection of historical artefacts, ceramic and glasswares from ancient China, and other historical documents pertaining to the state of Pahang and its royal ancestors.
Much of the museum is dedicated to the lives of the Pahang royal family. Set in the shady garden is a mini zoo, the sultan's old Cadillac, a traditional kampung house and a houseboat once used on the river.
