"This tiny island lying just off shore from Batu Pahat River estuary, is recognised for its great potential as a tourist destination."
There is tiny island with a lighthouse, Sialu Island, is located at the mouth of Batu Pahat river. A village of sea-faring orang asli once stood here, but this small populace has since moved to the mainland and becoming more settled there.
Today, although uninhabited, Pulau Sialu's strategic location holds potential for a nature-based tourist destination.
