If one wishes a more adventurous trip across the river towards the Fort, one can try the sampan which is readily available at the waterfront. The trip will only take about 15 minutes across compared going by land which can take longer, plus the jam! Or alternatively, you can catch a ride in the lavish River Cruise ... slightly pricey though. But truly worth it! "
