"My husband and I are regular visitors to Batu Ferringhi, these past 9 years. We are due to arrive again on December 21st and can't wait to get back!
We have recommended it to many of our friends as an ideal holiday destination that offers everything one could wish for.
Some years, we even go there twice! We absolutely love it! But the main reason we love it so much is because of its people. The wonderful diversity of nationalities and religions co-existing side by side in utter harmony is, we think, something the rest of the world should take note of and follow by example.
Each time we arrive here and whilst driving through Betu Ferringhi, there are old friends outside their shops who are delighted to see us back, waving away at us like mad!
We took my sister-in-law and her husband out to Batu Ferringhi as a gift to her for her 50th birthday, in April of this year. Both her and hubby fell in
love with it. They had never travelled so far before (from Ireland), but as we live in Dubai, they did have a stop over for a few days. They will certainly be visiting Penang again!
As for the beach, in fact, all the beaches, well for us, we found each one just pure magic. Beautiful blue water set against a wonderful background of lush tropical jungle. What more can a person wish for?
We have traveled the island extensively, many many times, driven over to Butterworth and ferried back, shopped until we dropped and do all over again, on each and every visit!
Whereever we are in the world, we will alway come back to Malaysia, it's where our hearts are.

"penang, my hometown. bestla... aku suker lepak penang coz cousin aku ramai kat sana. suke g gurney drive amik angin segar ilangkan tensen kat KL... sumtime aku suke jalan2 pasar 'road walk' (betulke eja?) yang banyak jual barang2 lamer 'zaman tok kadok' dan kengkadang barang tu dah rosak pun diaorang nak jual gak. best tau, enjoy... trylah pegi untuk suke2 jer. tapi apa pun, aku ngan adik beradik aku mesti gi pekena nasik kandar kat sana. barulah rasa lengkap bercuti kat penang! chow..."

"Batu Ferringhi is not like before.Its beautiful Beaches of golden sand,deep blue sea has been polluted. To many developments on the hill slopes. To many elite nightspots and restaurants are located here. I find it is not suitable place to go for holidays."

"Batu Feringgi mempunyai ramai tarikan terutamanya pelancong asing. bagi mereka yang ingin membeli cenderamata, anda mempunyai banyak pilihan. Begitu juga dengan pilihan makanan kerana banyak restoran yang menyediakan pelbagai aneka juadah untuk santapan pengunjung."

"Hotels are numerous around this area -- Bayview Beach Resort, Casuarina, Feringgi Beach Hotel, Golden Sands Resort, just named it a few. Blue and crytal beaches welcome a lot tourists to be here. Plenty of restaurants and mid night market that close at 2 am become the main attraction here."
