An interesting resident of Padang Hijau that might pique your curiousity is the selembu. The selembu is a unique species of cattle which is in fact, a cross breed between a buffalo and a cow (seladang meaning a species of buffalo and lembu means cow in Malay).
There is also a 40 feet tall watch tower from which you can take in an unobstructed view of the field. A man-made lake gives visitors a chance to go kayaking, boating and fishing. For those who want to have the experience of staying in a farm, they can try the farmstay Package here. Chalet facility is also available here.
