This is a place where you can find all of Sarawak’s handicrafts under one roof, and chat with the friendly artisans who are all too happy to share about their handiwork. Browse among the arrays of beautiful bead trinkets, hand-woven baskets, mats and hats lovingly crafted by the Orang Ulu, Penans and other tribes of Sarawak.
The historic building that houses Miri Handicraft Centre formerly functioned as the Miri Community Hall. For years, many public events held in the community hall including state dinners, wedding receptions and community social events.
