The race begins with a slow beating of the drums by the helmsmen. The beat increases steadily, going faster and faster, and then rising to a crescendo as the boats cross the finish line. The ornate and beautifully painted 'dragons' on the boats' prows add to the gaiety of the festival.

"This place is good for me. I can jogging every evening and I can maintained my stamyna. It take 10 minutes from my place. I think this place can upgraded to be a tourism place. This place must have a clean toilet, playground and anything can be played for everyone. That's all. " by Hasan Humaidi B Ismail
