Kenong Rimba Park is situated in natural surroundings with waterfalls, clear mountain streams and a variety of flora and fauna. There are aslo several caves to explore.

It has four permanent forest reserves. Another point of honour is that these are amongst the oldest jungles in the world. And nine other areas have been designated for possible reserves.

As the first building built by the British in Kuala Lipis, it was once the home to the British Resident appointed to Pahang.
