This mini zoo is home to a variety of animals such as bears, deers, monkeys and birds. The mini museum houses a collection of preserved animals as well as photographs and documents relating to the founding of Kuala Krai.
This mini zoo is situated on a 10-acre site and is under the management of the Kuala Krai Utara District Council.
It is an excellent venue to bring your family on weekends or school holidays. Children will have a field day getting to know the animals which they see or read in books or magazines.

Getting there
Kuala Krai is 70km from Kota Bharu from where there are regular buses and taxis (about 35 minutes' drive).

"The place is an excellent place for recreation but it needs more publicity in the papers and on websites. In fact, all places in the East Coast, particularly Kelantan needs more coverage. The state's tourism agencies shd positively act on it!!! Put political aspects on the backseat for once! Can't juz expect hand-outs all the time...be proactive. Gotta fight to be noticed!"
