Kemasik River provides the names for both the beach and the coastal town in this small vicinity. The unique beach straddles the banks of the estuary.

When low tide, you can actually walk across the sandy river bed to a small rocky outcrop near the estuary. You can also observe the lifestyle of quaint fishing villages nestling along the river coastline. The waters here are great for beach combing.
