GETTING THERE
By Bus
There are regular air-conditioned express bus services between Kuala Lumpur's Putra bus station, which can stop at major towns in Kelantan, including Gua Musang, before reaching Kota Bharu. From Kota Bharu you can take the No. 3 bus to Pasir Puteh which lies roughly 35km away.
There's two routes you can take from Kuala Lumpur to Kota Bharu. The overland route takes you eastward along the Karak Highway to Kuantan in Pahang a journey of about 3 hours, and from there the journey to Kota Bharu takes another 4 1/2 hours' drive. But before reaching Kota Bharu, you will reach Pasir Puteh. Get onto the road that leads to Machang (Federal Road no. 41) and look out for signboards leading to Jeram Pasu.

The inland route to Kota Bharu turns off the Karak Highway at Bentong and proceeds northwards to Raub and Gua Musang. Once you reach Machang, turn into the road that leads to Pasir Puteh. Look out for signboards leading to Jeram Lenang and Jeram Pasu waterfalls.
Jeram Pasu (Pasu Rapids)
" The refreshing and cooling water of the 'jeram' or waterfall, makes the area a deservedly popular outdoor recreation spot for locals."

The refreshingly cool waterfalls and rapids here make the area a deservedly popular outdoor recreation spot for locals. Here you can also bring your family to have a good weekend dip in the wonderful and fresh waterfall.

The authority has also made it possible for tourists and locals alike to have an overnight camping. Facilities are widely available for the convenience of picnickers.

Jeram Pasu is located at Kampung Padang Pak Amat, in Pasir Puteh, roughly 35km south of Kota Bharu. For more information, please contact the Kota Bharu Tourist Information Centre at 609-7485534.
