"
The Handicraft Centre, or Pasar Philippine is definitely a must-visit when one is in Sabah; in fact, should one miss it, she (or he) better had a pretty great excuse that could rival a big catastrophe."

Trinkets and souvenirs
Perhaps more famously known as "Pasar Philippine", the Handicraft Centre is an area where visitors can find a lot of things to bring home either as souvenirs or for own keepsake. Bags, necklaces, bracelets, bangles, handmade handicrafts and many others - all of them are up for grabs; just make sure that you use your bargaining skills up to the maximum.

Shopping made fun
Be aware of imitations though - as real pearls are often disguised in glasses, and original clothing brands are really not that 'original'.
Food is abundance at the Centre - a venture around and one can find one of the delicacies here - Chicken 'Behinds' - a seemingly politically-correct term for "Buntut Ayam".
The succulent, juicy meat, with a hint of honey and is grilled to perfection.
