Gua Musang is three hours from Kota Bharu and about five hours from Kuala Lumpur. Tourists can take one of the many express buses or taxis from either Puduraya or Hentian Putra Bus Terminal in Kuala Lumpur which have services plying the Karak Highway.
By Plane
There is no connection to Gua Musang. The nearest airport is in Kota Bharu which has daily connections to and from Kuala Lumpur. The flight from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) to Kota Bharu takes one hour.
By car, it is a 8-9-hours drive from Kuala Lumpur through the Karak Highway and exiting at Bentong before proceeding to Raub and thereon to Kuala Lipis, which is more than one hour's drive from Gua Musang. You can also take the east coast bound train (KTM) from Gemas, which has a daily day and a night service.
Gua Musang
" Numerous limestone hills near this remote town in Kelantan make it a potential centre for rock climbing but there is only one spot to do so."

This small town is in the southwest corner of Kelantan in the Gua Musang district, which is blessed with an abundance of limestone hills. The routes established here so far belie the full rock climbing potential of the region.

The Gua Musang Etnobotany Park around 30 routes established on the limestone outcrops at the park for both beginner and expert climbers. Its level of difficulty comprise 5s, 7As and 7Bs, according to the French Grade. Most routes are well sheltered by the natural overhang, so climbing is possible in all kinds of weather.

Cattle Ranch Wall, a popular location for rick climbing at Gua Musang, was so named because there is a cattle pen directly below it. The limestone at Cattle Ranch is different from the others in Malaysia as it is cleaner, harder and full of sloping pockets and gentle huecos (hollow).
