To get to the Gopeng Homestay, you exit at the Gopeng Toll Plaza and drive towards Gopeng town, you have to drive pass the town till you see the signboard showing Rumah Perumahan Sungai Itek. Just a few meters in front lookout for the signboard showing Kampong Jelituh. Turn left till you see another signage showing Kampong Sungai Itek. The whole journey from the Gopeng Toll plaza will take about 20 minutes to reach the Homestay.

The kind kampong folks will organize a special cultural presentation called 'berjojak' and 'masakan kelamai', a traditional presentation from the Malay community."
On your first day, you will be taken to see the beautiful scenery and enjoy a languid walk around the kampong filled with fruit orchards. Several interesting activities will be planned out for you to do with your foster family.
Your second day will be filled with even more exciting activities like visiting the orchard (if in season), fishing or go rubber tapping. The kind kampong folks will organize a special cultural presentation called 'berjojak' a traditional initiation ceremony that is performed to a child when they begin taking their first baby steps.
Then there is the 'masakan kelamai' where the food is prepared in shaved bamboo over a fire, these are a few of the traditional presentation from the Malay community of the Rawa descendent. Other activities include traditional games like 'sepak raga' and 'congkak'.
Third day at the kampong, there will be a traditional cooking demonstration as well as various endurance activities like; White Water Rafting at Kampar River (the highlight of this homestay) trekking the nearby caves like Tempurong Cave, Candu Cave and others within the vicinity
