GETTING THERE
The trip to Rantau Panjang via bus takes about 1 1/2 hours. From the Kota Bharu central bus station, take bus number 29B to get to Rantau Panjang. Optionally, you can also catch a taxi to take you across to Golok form Kota Bharu town, a 45-minute ride which will cost you around RM15 per car, one way. Once in Rantau Panjang, you can either walk across the border or hail a trishaw.
Golok Bridge (Jambatan Muhibbah)
" The Golok Bridge or popularly called "Jambatan Muhibah" (Harmonious Bridge) symbolically signifies the close relationship and warm interaction between Malaysia and Thailand."

The Golok Bridge or popularly called "Jambatan Muhibah" (Harmonious Bridge) symbolically signifies the close relationship and warm interaction between the government of Malaysia and Thailand. It is the main entrance and exit points between the two countries.

This Bridge, which connects Rantau Panjang and Golok towns, was officiated by the Prime Minister of Malaysia at that time Tun Haji Abdul Razak Bin Datuk Hussein on May 21, 1973.

A second bridge linking Malaysia and Thailand across the Golok River, is currently under construction and will connect Bukit Bunga Jeli in Kelantan with Bukit Tal in Weng, Narathiwat in Thailand. This bridge is expected to be completed in 2005.
