Built in 1857, Gedung Raja Abdullah in Klang was first used to store weapons, tin and food supply. In 1874, the British converted it to government offices. Then, this building was converted into a museum with numerous relics in 1895.
Now, it stands majestically as a tin museum, and a reminder of the past that was calamitous and colourful.
Exhibits in this museum trace the history of Selangor's tin mining industry and the role it played in the development and success of Selangor. Note : Closed for upgrading works.

Getting there
Located approximately 32km from Kuala Lumpur, this place is situated within the vicinity of the Klang Police Station. You can take any bus en route to Klang from the Klang or Puduraya bus stands. You can also take the KTM commuter up to the Klang station. If you are driving, you can take the federal Highway and follow ample signages to Klang.
