Found about five minutes drive from Alor Gajah town is this natural hot-water well complex, another one of Melaka's many tourist attractions. Spewing steam and warming up the surroundings on cold mornings, the water gushes out continuously. Believed to possess medicinal properties, the hot waters of these living wells are slightly sulphuric in smell. Whether you are a casual tourist intending to enjoy a warm shower, or a serious scientist probing the wonders of subterranean activity, this place will bring a pleasant and curious change.

There is a thrifty restaurant serving local delicacies, and you will not be disappointed having had a filling meal after a refreshing shower in the cubicles provided here by the local government's privatised project.
