What can you see here is one of the world's most promoted fireflies colonies. These fireflies inhibit around the branches of the berembang trees that grows along the riverbank.
Every night there is a stream of electric driven motor boats that ferry sight-seeing visitors to listen to the spectacular symphonic harmony of the fireflies while viewing their luminous flashes of light that is truly a magnificent sight to the eyes of beholder.

Getting there
By Bus
Take Bus no.141 from platform 23 at the main bus terminal, Puduraya Bus Station in KL. The tickets are bought on the bus. Departs every half hourly from 6.30am.
By Car:
Kuala Selangor is about an hour away from the Kuala Lumpur. Take the North-South expressway, exit at Sungai Buloh. Follow signs to Sungei Buloh. You should be on route 54. "It is indeed an interesting place to visit. The AZAM Badminton ladies including myself,manage to see thousands of fireflies flying between those bushes and mangrove trees. Not olny that we could listen at the spectacular symphonic harmony of the fireflies and their luminous flashes of light which makes us feel like totally in a different world. "Compliments to the firefly but the so-call resort really need alot of improvements. Timing of boats could always be extented, resort like a ghost time after last boat, restaraunt close at 9pm. I wouldn't check in to the resort if i have know such. Felt trapped, it will be great if boat rides could be offered to resort guest, afterall, they are there for one purpose and we could be positively sure not for the facilities of the resort if there is any.
