GETTING THERE
Travelling via taxi is the best choice to get here from Johor Bahru city centre. The fare is about RM4 to RM5, depending on traffic conditions. But if you prefer to take a leisure walk from the city centre, just follow the pedestrian path along the straits for about 2km.

Danga Bay can also be accessed from Skudai Highway (Federal route 1 ) via the Danga Bay interchange which becomes Jalan Skudai Route J1, which is located near Istana Bukit Serene. Those coming from Singapore and Johor Bahru city centre can access Danga Bay via Jalan Skudai.
Danga Bay
" Danga Bay or Teluk Danga is Malaysia's premier waterfront city and the largest recreational park in the city of Johor Bahru, Malaysia. Besides being a rustic residential waterfront getaway, it is also a great place to hang out, shop and eat till you drop. Danga Bay is also sometimes referred to as the Vision City of the South."

Spread across 1,8000 acres of land with 25km of waterfront shoreline, Danga Bay is positioned to be a self-contained city within a city with world-class infrastructures and facilities to cater to ever changing needs.

There’s plenty to see and do at Danga Bay for the whole family:

Cultural Centre – Discover the colours of diverse ethnicities, languages, beliefs, traditions, food, costumes, handicraft and lifestyles that embody the essence of what is truly and uniquely Malaysian. At Rumah Limas Johor, the State’s 8 districts are represented by uniquely-designed traditional houses, and where cultural shows unique to each district are performed. Local food and handicrafts are also featured here.

Danga City Mall – Danga City Mall is a contemporary mega shoppers’ complex featuring a wide range of local and regional specialty stores for all ages and is positioned to become the epicentre for shopping, food, entertainment and leisure. The huge 5-storey structure is indeed a mall for all.
