You can take the Intrakota buses no.21C/ 48C from Kotaraya or no.18/ 21A from Chow Kit which goes directly to the Lake Gardens. You can also take the KTM commuter and disembark at the Old KL station located near the National Mosque. Catch a taxi from there.

Set amid a 16-hectare forest, the 13-suite boutique Hotel has played host to Queen Elizabeth as well as a long list of ambassadors, lesser royalties and celebrities. Divided between two colonial mansions—the Carcosa and the Negara—the place sports an air of genuine gentility, especially since each suite comes with a butler. The Hotel exudes British country charm, right down to the floral prints and slightly shabby furnishings. The only real weakness is the kitchen, which has yet to meet modern British culinary standards.
"I've been here once on family day outing. It's a nice place to have some coffee or small party, located uphill near by the lake garden. The place reminds me the colonial era. Nothing much on the activity though."
