Batu Metropolitan Park is situated to the north of Kuala Lumpur and is part of the former open cast mines along Jalan Ipoh.
Facilities at the 24ha park include picnic areas, barbecue pits, jogging tracks, reflexology paths and exercise stations for light workouts.

Getting there
From City Centre:
From the Federal Highway in the city centre head towards Jalan Ipoh and past the Sentul and Dynasty Hotel area before reaching Masjid Jamek Kampung Batu near Jalan Kok Lian. From there turn right at the traffic lights and proceed past the railway tracks and take the first right followed by a left at the Taman Mastiara housing area. Take a left turn and head towards Jalan 2/18C, then turn right and the Batu Metropolitan Park will be in front.
From Selayang, Batu Caves and Kepong:
Head towards the Jalan Ipoh route from the Jalan Kuching roundabout near the Sungai Mas building. Pass the Sekolah Rendah Sri Delima and a Petronas station on your left-hand side and then make an immediate left turn. Proceed to pass the railway tracks and take the first right followed by a left at the Taman Mastiara housing area. Take a left turn and head towards Jalan 2/18C then turn right and the Batu Metropolitan Park will be in front.

"the size of the park is a bit small with limited facilities. number of user is also quite small and mostly consist of regular faces from neighbouring residential areas as not many people is aware of this park. suitable for users looking for a quiet space."
