A magnificent place, where it could give the feel of the ocean. Mountain had surrounded the dam, which looks very similar like islands surrounded the ocean. Just a few kilometres from Batu Cave, on the way to Ulu Yam, you will be amazed by the Batu Dam scenery.

Well, it's a good place to hang out with friends or with the love one. Late in the evening, you'll see the beautiful sunset, shining up the water.

Just few kilometres away from the dam, you'll reach a waterfall, where you can have good bath with the crystal clear water.

If you go more further, on the way to Ulu Yam, you will be surprised with people are sitting beside the road, holding a recycled bottle and an umbrella. What are they doing ? They are actually collecting water that flow naturally from the mountain. They claimed that the water is very good for health. Well, actually, scientists has proved that the water is full of minerals and it's clean enough to be drink.

For food, you'll find some stall near the waterfall. Food like nasi lemak, kuih-muih and drinks are served there. For non-Muslim, you have the option to go Ulu Yam town for their speciallity, Ulu Yam Loh Mee. It's completely different taste from anywhere in Malaysia, and it's delicious.

Batu Dam is a very good place for family outings. You can easily spend a day there, if you visits all the mentioned. It's just 30 mins drive from KL City.
