"Atma Alam, Langkawi's original Art Village in Padang Mat Sirat was made possible by a young couple set out to realize a long-time dream."
Atma Alam, Langkawi's original Art Village in Padang Mat Sirat was made possible by a young couple set out to realize a long-time dream. Aza Osman, an oil painter and Roshadah Yusof, a batik artist, have created a wonderful heaven of art and culture, showcasing the creative energy of a generation.
Atma Alam welcomes the individual and group to take part in the village atmosphere and choose from a wide selection of regional mementos. Among items available here include cushion covers, purses and handbags made of songket and cotton or silk batik casual wear and scarves. Original oil-painted masterpieces on canvas and oil and batik paintings are also available. There is also a cafe available here for visitors to take a break from the shopping and drink in the atmosphere.
Make your own batik design on silk or cotton at the birthplace of batik art on Langkawi . There is also a songket and contemporary art gallery .

User recommendation
"We purchased a batik on cotton from your gallery next to your Cafe. We have fitted it between glass above our cooker and added lights and it is beautiful and taken notice of by everyone who comes into our house. We will send a picture to you. Hope you are all well and tell your daughter who served us most mornings when we were on holiday we ask very much for her. We did meet you all at our hotel one evening. Weather very cold and lots of snow, have not been out for 5 days, but have to go back to work on Thursday. Love Hilda + George" by Hilda & George Black
