The museum was established to uncover the facts and the myths behind the origins of Jasin as one of the significant settlements of Melaka's territorial expansion. Jasin was the first district in Melaka to produce tin and agricultural crops and the pioneer of rubber plantation in the country. Exhibits range from historical and cultural artefacts in particular those related to agricultural activities.
