1. Tanjung Pelindung
This boulder strewn shady beach is today a major attraction for campers and birdwatchers. Used to be a sanctuary to the locals during war.
2. Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary
The Kuala Gandah Elephants Sanctuary allows you to observe and understand the handling and management of translocated Asian elephants. You can participate in daily activities, like feeding and bathing.
3. The Rest House, Kuala Lipis
As the first building built by the British in Kuala Lipis, it was once the home to the British Resident appointed to Pahang.
4. Bera Lake
Tasik Bera is a sprawling mosaic of unique wetland ecosystems and diverse natural habitats, which lies camouflaged in a remote pocket of south-western Pahang.
5. The Tun Razak Memorial Hall
This memorial hall houses some of the late Tun Abdul Razak's personal effects and memorabilia. It offers the visitor a life like experience of the atmosphere of a typical Malay village house at the turn of the century.
6. Sultan Abu Bakar State Museum
At a glance, you might think you've arrived at a palace with its elaborate Malay architectural design. But, it is actually a state museum...
7. Bentong Hot Spring
Good for weary trippers to rejuvenate. Moreover, the greenery and mountainous view surrounding the hot spring is a good-natured sight not to be missed.
8. Astana Golf Resort
The championship course is spread over rolling hills and a generous number of water elements. There are refreshing streams and lakes that beautify the course, giving it the nickname,'The Gem of the East'.
9. Camerons Agrotechnology Park
The Park is home to 40 varieties of roses, 10 strawberries, 100 citrus fruits, at least six types of anthuriums, four varieties of apples and pears as well as persimmons.
10. Jubli Perak Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Agricultural Park
The Jubli Perak Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Agricultural Park is just 15 minutes from Kuantan. It is accessible through the Kuantan Terengganu Highway.
