1. Lentang Forest Recreational Park
The forest park has an arboretum, where visitors can discover the trees and plants being cultivated here for both scientific and medical research.
2. Mount Tapis Park
A beautiful nature park with relatively good camping spots, Gunung Tapis, situated about 16km away from Sungai Lembing offers a number of activities.
3. Beserah Beach
The Beserah fishermen conducts a unique practise with water buffaloes, which are not normally seen on the beach for they are always used to plough paddy fields or to pull heavy carts), to transport fish from the boats to the processing area.
4. Telom River
Flowing from 1000m above sea level in Cameron Highland, the course is a continuous descent and the flow during the rainy months is too treacherous for any rafting activities.
5. Panching Cave
Situated along the way to the Charah Caves is a limestone cavern that contains an enormous 9-meter long statue of the reclining Buddha.
6. Balok Beach
Balok Beach near Kuantan is ideal for water sports. It is the venue for the annual 'Monsoon Madness' international windsurfing competition.
7. Mount Irau
This mountain can easily be climbed from Cameron Highlands and can be done in a day. You will be starting your climb from a higher altitude, which is a cooler start and the route passes through moss forest.
8. Mount Benom
This is the ninth highest peak in Peninsula Malaysia and is located in the Krau Wildlife Reserve near Jerantut in Pahang.
9. Bera Lake
Tasik Bera is a sprawling mosaic of unique wetland ecosystems and diverse natural habitats, which lies camouflaged in a remote pocket of south-western Pahang.
