1. Kota Mahsuri Formerly known as Makam Mahsuri (Mahsuri's Mausoleum), Kota Mahsuri was erected in honour of Mahsuri, a fair maiden who was unjustly accused of adultery more than 200 years ago. |
2. Underwater World Langkawi There are over 5000 fishes and other exhibits, which are presented in more than 117 specially designed tanks that are arranged along a zoom long passageway. |
3. Bukit Hijau Recreational Forest Also known as Lata Bukit Hijau Recreational Forest, it is famed for its amazing seven-level cascading waterfalls that create seven pools of cool, crystal clear water. |
4. Air Hangat Village Formerly known as Telaga Air Hangat (Hot Springs Well), it is now a combination spa and cultural experience park. |
5. Mount Jerai Gunung Jerai is the highest point in this northern part of the peninsula. There is a little hill resort at the top which can be accessed by a 13km road. The mountain has ideal trekking routes with fascinating waterfalls, plants and birds to be seen. |
6. Royal Museum This is the place to learn and marvel at the regalia of the Kedah royal family. |
7. Mahathir's Birth Place This is the home of Malaysia's Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Mahathir Mohamad where the premier was born on December 20, 1925. For historic purposes, the National Archives restored and gazetted the house as a historical building in 1992. |

10. Ibrahim Hussein Museum & Cultural Foundation This is a non-profit cultural foundation established in 1991 by a local artist, Ibrahim Hussein. Besides the artist's own works, the museum collect works by other prominent artists from around the world |
