1. Kukup Golf Resort
Only 45 minutes by car from Singapore through the second link is Kukup Golf Resort. It is a 4-hour drive from Kuala Lumpur and well worth the visit.
2. Teluk Sisek Beach
Located about eight kilometres south of Pasir Lanun is scenic Teluk Sisek. The coastline, fringed by casuarinas, is gentle with a long stretch of fine golden sand.
3. Tanjung Resang Beach
Teluk Resang beach in Mersing, Johor is normally subjected to rough waves and wind. But the sombre tone of the sand which matches the wild nature of this spot makes it a popular destination.
4. Tanjung Leman Beach
Watch white hornbills while enjoying the warm breeze on Pantai Tanjung Leman. 'A jumping off' point to the islands.
5. Mersing Jetty
Mersing Jetty is the preferred staging point for the northern and eastern clusters of islands whereas the southern cluster of islands should be accessed via Tanjung Leman jetty.
6. Bugis Museum
The Bugis Museum, situated at the district of Pontian, is an interesting place to visit. You can expect to be exposed to Bugis artefacts and various household items used by the community.

The idea to build the majestic edifice was mooted by Sultan Ibrahim to symbolise Johor's progress during that time.
9. Sungai Bantang Recreational Forest
The Sungai Bantang Recreational Forest is located 64km from Segamat town and 8km from the small town of Bekok near the Johor-Melaka border. It has unique species of flora and fauna beckons.
10. Tanjung Balau Beach
Tanjung Balau not only has a beautiful stretch of beach, at the nearby Malay fishing village, there is also a unique Fishermen Museum.
